Previous Minutes: Minutes are online but were hard copies were not presented at meeting due to miscommunication between Dale and Todd, but were accepted.

Committee Chair’s Report:   BAC is asking troop to station an activity for the Fort McHenry Centennial event.  Troop is going to ask if doing an activity will allow us to camp at the fort.  Rescheduling of Scout Sunday was discussed.  It was decided to see if March 7th was a good date for the church.  Follow-up, Dale confirmed March 7th with Pastor Venable at Mount Hebron.  It was reported by the visiting commissioner that our troop is “strong and vibrant”, even though our numbers are declining.  We need to get a message to the higher officers that we need a feeder pack.  We are working hard to recruit with minimal return to date.

Treasurer’s Report:  Presented in writing.

Scout Credits: Todd and Marcelle were still working out some details. No updates.

Scout Master’s Report:  Brian said that “Ian is taking Chaplin’s aid over the top” and is being recognized at high levels in the scouting organization.  Troop activities, equipment and fundraiser were explained to the visiting Webelos parents.

Green Bar Report: Chris said that the Greenbar discussed the upcoming OA and troop elections.  Preparations were made for this Saturday’s Scouting For Food.  The scouts will need two adults to supervise when they light fires as part of the wilderness survival program which is scheduled for the next several troop meetings.  Evaluations will be made each week with a prize at the end.

Advancement Chairperson Report: Several scouts are ready to advance. Patrick’s eagle project was approved. Langston is still waiting for his project to be approved. Doug has completed the last merit badge for life.
