1) Envirothon
Environmental Education Event covering 5 topics (Aquatics, Forestry, Wildlife,
Soils, and a fifth current environmental issue) open for students in grades 9-12
Training Day - Nov. 6 (sign up by Oct. 30), competition Wed. Apr. 14

Course dates - Oct. 9-11; Training Sept. 26, 2009 from 9-11:30

4) Recharter Training
Recharter packets will be given out at the October Roundtable. They will go over
the changes since last year, and if you've done the online training, you will be
dismissed following this discussion. Otherwise, you'll have to stay for Rechartering 101.
5) Life to Eagle seminar at next months Roundtable (Oct.12)
6) Chartered Organization Rep. Training takes place on Oct. 6, from 7:30 - 9 at Bethany UMC
7) Scout Day at Towson University on Sat. Oct. 31.
Game time is 1PM, and tickets are just $12.
8) John Harvey Eagle Leadership Project Award
Do you think your Eagle project was of a "significant nature" and has lasting value...?
This award is for the Eagle project that had the greatest impact on the community.
Prizes are savings bonds ($100 at the District level and $200 at the Council level)
9) Spring Adventuree at Camp Tuckahoe (preregistration is $8 per person)
March 26-28, 2010; theme is Pirates vs. Medieval
10) Pow Wow - Nov. 7, 2009
Den Chief Training taking place at Pow Wow. The class runs from 10 - 2.
11) The Star Spangled Camporee - Oct 1-3, 2010 at Fort McHenry
Total cost is $35 per person ($40 after 12/31/2009)
There is a $10 per person deposit which must be paid at the time of the online
registration)
